Stress in Adolescents is improved by managing the “Two Mindsets”.

Stress is present in our lives daily, we cannot control it, but we can work on the way we see it to treat it in a better way.

Therefore, a team of researchers, including scientist from the University of Rochester and Google’s Empathy Lab worked on a way to help adolescents cope with stress, this was done by managing two mindsets: growth and improvement.

Their results indicated that learning about a synergistic mindset “can protect vulnerable adolescents against unhealthy threat-type responses to normal social-evaluative stress and the negative mental health outcomes associated with such stress responses.”
