Social networks and emotional well-being

The world of information has demanded that everything revolve around social networks, where, much of the content produced can be harmful to mental health. This is due to the different challenges that can be found on social media, as well as the damage of social standards that “must be met”.

For those reasons, all alerts have been sounded to the various challenges that can be seen daily. Young people today don’t measure the limits or project the damage that can be caused when meeting one of them. An example? The death of a 15-year-old in the United States for following the Benadryl Challenge.

Therefore, it is important for all of us to pay attention to the messages that are spread on social media daily. We do not know if friends, family members, or even ourselves are being negatively affected emotionally by exposure to this content.

“Today’s consumer is someone who is connected or about to connect.”
