On March 10, the Ohio State offensive lineman, Harry Miller announced his retirement through a message posted on his social networks. However, it was not until the 21st of this month in an interview given to “Today” where he explained his reason for it: mental health.
As the athlete mentions in the interview, he has had suicidal thoughts and depression, which have made him pause his career to seek healing. In addition, he hopes that with his testimony many of the people who are going through this will dare to speak up and seek help.

“And right now you have all the logic, all the rationale in the world to give up on it. And I would just ask, pretend for a little bit, and then one day you won’t have to pretend anymore and you’ll be happy.”Harry Miller
