Starbucks, a Company that Cares About the Emotional Well-Being of Its Employees.
The new generations seek to be able to mix their work time with their hobbies. A good example is what has been achieved by Starbucks, which in more than 150 stores identified that its young employees widely use Spotify and talk about mental health, as revealed its CEO, Andrew Ross Sorkin.
Starbucks has positioned itself as a progressive employer as it provides total stability to its workers. Specifically, among the benefits that they have are a free Spotify membership since 2015 and free therapy sessions for their emotional well-being with Lyra Health, a mental health benefits company.
“They also come off as so Gen Z, younger workers who dig streaming content and are vocal about mental health.”
