Youth Mental Health Art Contest in Kentucky Offers Scholarships for Students

RiverValley Behvioral Health has launched its 2026 Youth Mental Health Art Contest, inviting students from kindergarten through college across seven counties in western Kentucky to submit original artwork centered on the theme “Be Kind to Your Mind.” The competition encourages creativity and mental health awareness, with entries due by April 16, 2026, ahead of Mental Health Awareness Month in May.

Winners in each age division will receive a $500 scholarship and a certificate, and their school or chosen youth organization will receive a matching contribution. The school or organization with the most entries will also receive a $1,000 award.
