Substance Abuse and Mental Health Issues, Some of the Problems of American Soldiers.

The recent study, “Military Service Branch Differences in Alcohol Use, Tobacco Use, Prescription Drug Misuse, and Mental Health Conditions” published by Rand Corporation, showed substance abuse and mental health problems in the Armed Forces.

The results come from a 2015 Department of Defense survey data of nearly 17,000 active-duty soldiers. Additionally, Marines self-reported the highest cases of binge drinking, anxiety, depression, etc.
