Joe Biden Allocates $300 Million for Mental Health

The Department of Education and the Department of Health and Human Services, through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and thanks to the Safer Communities Act (BSCA), allocated more than $300 million for mental health.

The goal is help to create healthier and safer learning environments for children, who will receive support and training in discussing their mental health conditions, through virtual training sessions with mental health care specialists, including family medicine, who will help diagnose patients correctly.

“We’ve never seen an effort of this magnitude in relation to the challenge that we have around mental health.”
