The mental health of athletes has become a trend due to the brave confessions of, for example, Naomi Osaka, Michael Phelps and Simone Biles. Coach Matt Whitcomb, head coach for the I.S., affirms that all athletes have comprehensive help for their development, which includes a sports psychologist.
Therefore, mental training in athletes must be according to the discipline they practice, that includes locking themselves in a “happy bubble” where they carry out activities such as remote video calls with their families, or the practice of one of their hobbies in their free moments.
