Updated Numbers Show an Increase in Mental Health Issues

According to a study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the numbers for mental health issues have grown. The study was resumed due to events witnessed in less than a month such as the deaths of Kevin Ward and Cheslie Kryst.

Among the data updated by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), 40% of adults in America reported using substances or suffering from a mental health illness, while the cases of adolescents suffering from depression or anxiety doubled .
