Outpatient Clinical Services
Neighbors’ Consejo is a Core Service Agency (CSA) certified by the Department of Behavioral Health in the District of Columbia. Through the Program of Mental Health and our qualified licensed clinicians, we offer the services of Diagnostic/Assessment, Medication/Somatic Treatment, Individual Therapy, Individual and Group Counseling, and Community Support.
Our goal is to deliver services that promote recovery, respect cultural and linguistic diversity. Our choice-driven individualized mental health services are supported by rehabilitation programs, peer support programs, and preparation to pursue employment opportunities and self-sufficiency.
Our outreach team is responsible for engaging the DC community in regard to prevention, timely intervention, and treatment of mental illness, substance abuse, and homelessness. The outreach team is comprised of community support workers, the Neighbor’s Consejo clinical team, and other professional and administrative staff.
Our goals are to involve the community in reforming disadvantageous behavior and cognition, develop collaborative and production relationships with residents, and achieving continued education for a better future for our neighbors in need.
Program Participation Appointments: If you wish to be a part of our program, you must first have a conversation with one of our staff members. Appointments may be made by calling the Front Desk at 202.234.6855, 24/7.
Call our number any time any day, and we’ll coordinate a convenient time for you to come into one of our offices. If you’re unable to come to us, we’ll come to you. While appointments are preferred to keep you from waiting, walk-ins are always welcome.
